Scenario Maker in ANY version of Madden?

Is there a way to create your own scenario with ANY version of Madden?

By scenario, I mean:

Set the two teams playing
Set the quarter
Set the time on the clock
Set the score between two teams.
Set the yard line.
Set the number of time outs left.

Let's say I wanted to recreate last year's Super Bowl, at the point where the Patriots scored their first touchdown, and I want to see if I can pull off coming back, like they did in real life.

Does ANY version of Madden, past or present, allow me to do this?

I'm pretty sure I remember this being in a Madden game, but I'm also pretty sure it was back on the PS1. Madden 2000, maybe?

Madden definitely used to have this. I forget what year it was removed.

Just did a google search. It was in Madden 2004. Was probably in all of the Xbox.PS2 versions. The golden age of madden.

This would be PERFECT for online CFM's for when a game gets disconnected.

I used to play situation mode all the time on Madden 2004. It was fun to set up wacky scenarios and see if I could still win. Not sure what other versions had it though.

Yeah, there was a scenario editor back in the PS2/Xbox era. Gave you a long list of options. It wasn't perfect and I rarely played it, but it was there.

Got dropped with the jump to the 360.

And we'll definitely never see it again because wouldn't you rather play MUT to do this scenario for a limited edition Ras-I Dowling 64-OVR card?
