in a career mode which game is better Madden 17 or 18?

sorry if this has been asked, I like a realistic game that where i take a horrible team and it takes me years to build

Madden 18 is simply just a re-skin of 17 in terms of Franchise Mode. If you want updated rosters/teams, 18 is the way to go.

I somewhat play coach mode...So I have house rules to make it competitive, I do not play QB, I let the computer do that

18's better because rating matter more. You can feel the difference between A and B guys now, especially receivers and linemen.

The mode itself is more or less unchanged except much less screen lag, but gameplay enhancements make it more fun.

If you've got the Xbox One X M18 would be the way to go because of graphics and load times. CFM is literally the same between both games.
