Anyone miss using legends into their franchise?

I’m an old school guy, not huge online guy. My good memories of Madden 09, 10 and 11 let you release dozens of NFL greats into the free agent pool right out of the box and use them anytime in exhibition and franchise. No unlocking required , just there for you to use them . I understand the restriction on UT but for just exhibition and franchise please let us use all the nfl Greats you have in the game again. Anyone agree with me?

Agreed. I used to put legends on teams all across the league and follow their stats.

Wouldn't mind seeing MUT Legend cards able to be purchased individually and allows you to insert that player into your custom draft class and have an authentic Randy Moss and replay his career.

With the new edit draft class feature in 19, you’d be able to put in legends. Just got to the MUT website and you can find ratings for everyone they have put in game since madden 25 I believe it is. I use the sight for my fictional roster I have going in madden 18.

Yea but the problem here is it doesn't look like they are going to have verbal audio matches for commentary when you edit players. So your immersion of recreating legends is going to really suck.

I miss playing with classic teams. Playing the 85 Bears vs the 86 Giants. Or the 72 Dolphins vs the 94 Niners. This was a long time ago but it would be sick to bring these teams along with their old fashion uniform styles and equipment back to life.

What sucks, and I hope Kane fixes this, is there’s a legends team in the game you can play exhibition games against, but the roster can’t be touched. That’s all he needs to do is make that roster editable and we can start releasing guys into free agency.
