Cpu Cornerback alignment during press or show blitz

I recently noticed you can pre determine the type of coverage the computer is playing in either press or show Blitz alignment... When the computer is playing man the cornerbacks are slightly inside and when they are playing Zone they are heads up on the receiver. I hope this is just an oversight by the developers and they correct this soon.

This is not an accident its actually how corners are taught, though its oversimplified in Madden. In press you shade inside to force a WR to the boundary and use the sideline as your friend. In Zone you keep your back to the sideline to funnel the WR towards your help. Now this varies from scheme to scheme, field position, and game situation but it isn't a bug.

Yeah I played CB and know the position... I just would like not to know what the computer is in for coverage pre snap. The only D where the CB is straight up on the WR in either man or zone was Big Nickel, with the inside shade its so easy to throw 9 routes because they loose leverage on the jam and the WR has a easier release.

I wish leverage counted for more to begin with beyond 9 routes on the outside, or the CPU using more strategy beyond just knowing your playcall but if we are being perfectly honest, it doesn't affect head to head so it won't be a priority unfortunately. I have a thread about this same concept of coverage disguising so I definitely see where you come from. Try not to make it too obvious
