Keep getting error message when I enter CFM

CE-34878-0 PS4 Error Code


This morning I loaded the game, went into franchise mode, and went to start up my game. Everything ran normally. While the screen was loading to start the game I would get this error message every time. I tried restarting the PS4, checked to see if any updates needed to be downloaded, and it still continued.

Can anyone provide some help on how to fix this?

The franchise file is corrupted. Last year there was a bug where custom draft classes and it would crash a few years into the future but it was fixed.

I really haven't played much this year so I don't know if this is back.

Unfortunately though, the file is corrupted. The only option is to start over. Do not delete the file as maybe there is another issue that they are fixing. As said above, there was a bug that was fixed and you could continue on with franchises.

Mine did exactly the same thing the other day, but only when I would go to upgrade players, so I didn't do that, played the next game and everything has been fine since. Even going back to upgrade players, it was just one week where it did that.

I would recommend advancing the week and see if it is still there.
