I also haven't seen them let the time run out without getting a FG off as others have.

Is the CPU draining the clock when ahead at the end of games? Running the ball more, playing safe, etc?

Agree, that's not a good look at all. They should have called a TO, but I don't know if the acc. clock went off or not.

Looks like it did.

It's not improved whatsoever. You can find threads going back years with the same problems. The AI has failed to attempt game-tying/winning FGs both in supersim and playing defense myself. It seems to treat OT like it's the first quarter. My last game I played, I used up most of the time in OT and kicked a FG while the AI didn't use one timeout with about 2 minutes left, got into FG range and was trying to run a play as time ran out. Didn't use its timeouts at all.

This will never get better so long as EA has 1. A monopoly on NFL games and 2. Less than a year development cycle every single iteration. And why shouldn't they keep plugging along like they have for years? Idiots like us continue to buy the game every year/every other year. They put window dressing while legacy issues remain untouched. But, hey, they added in Kaepernick and overinflated his OVR! Scoring points to appease the Woke Brigade. What could we possibly have to complain about?!
