Best Playbooks for Power Run & Vertical Pass Game

Hey y'all. I'm wondering if anyone can help me figure out which playbook(s) have the highest concentration of gap-blocked run plays (I love power, duo, iso, and counter) and a passing game rooted in intermediate to deep passes.

I'm looking to pair the Vertical Power Run scheme with a book that's got enough of those plays in it to constitute the basis of my offense.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Dallas should be pretty good for this.

I'd also add the Spread playbook to this list. Almost all of your formations will have 01 Trap or 56 Trap, Power, and Counter in addition to read options and triple option RPOs which you can use as constraints. Tons of great passing plays, too. It's the best all around book in the game, IMO.

Re: Best Playbooks for Power Run & Vertical Pass Game

Thanks, Stinkubus!

NE makes a lot of sense. I did a full playbook breakdown in M19 and M20 and NE ranked at or near the top of the list for best zone & gap run schemes and vertical passes. Sounds like they still hold serve.

I'd not have considered the Spread book in this vein--excellent suggestion.

I did a bit of digging on that site you linked and also concluded that TB and PIT also checked in as having particularly strong vertical passing games, w/ TB having the edge in the run game between the two.

Again, thanks a ton for the recommendations!
