The coaching staff needs a bigger impact on the game.

I don't think they factor into the game as much as they should. Teams with great HC's like Bill Belichick shouldn't ever play like garbage even if they lack talent because their coaches prepare them well, pair that up with great players and you have a potential dynasty team.

As a first year coach of a less than .500 team, it shouldn't be possible to go to Kansas City and beat Pat Mahomes and Andy Reid (unless a fluke) due to their prestige and the amount of time they've built on their work.

Madden needs to use their coaching staff the way NFL Head Coach 09 did, with a huge impact that can cause dominate 60-14 type of games. The CPU teams need a "dynasty" dynamic that would highlight their coaching staff, teams with great coaches always play well, but the teams with great talent and poor coaching would struggle.

Having a scouting report on the coaches on the upcoming teams would be a simple addition that could help with immersion and fill the void of us feature junkies. Things like their overalls, schemes, successful plays, etc.

Totally agree. This is a great time and off season to add something to the coaches. Real name OC and DC or ability to edit names would be terrific. I’d love to add hiring and firing of these guys too! 8 NFL openings right now if LVR doesn’t keep interim so be a great time to add this I’d like to see ability to call plays too. Like having each HC OC or DC with playbook. So you can adjust to opponent etc.

It seems like this would be a pivot off the Momentum mechanic. Good coaches should be better at stealing and holding momentum.
