Throwing the ball away

I know how to do it, but the AI QB often throws it away while standing in the pocket (over the head of a receiver on the sidelines, out the back of the end zone etc...)

Anyone know how to do that? When I try it, even if there's a receiver nearby I get a penalty.

I think it may be related to the throw away trait. This is a complete guess.

I’m pretty sure last year they turned off IG for the CPU. It feels like they almost adjusted it to fix the never ending drop back last year.

I hate being the broken record; but at this point, rebuild the game ppl. Old code messing up new additions etc. Just make a 2022 base and build on it. It cant be that hard to rebuild after how many years of this old code? Feels like a job hidden under random papers never to be seen again smh.

I'm starting to wonder if this old trait system is even active anymore.

EA has switched to a trait system governed by Next Gen Stats and the player archetypes.
