Auto subs

Is anybody using auto subs successfully to get a decent running back rotation. Trying to split carries or get 3 RBs in a platoon style is becoming difficult due to formation subs not sticking. If so what do you have sub in and out at?

It has never worked properly and still doesn’t. Best approach is to utilize formation subs. You can also choose “spell HB” if you’re calling plays from the formations tab and make some subs there.

Overall the best approach is to be truly diligent and make player-personnel decisions in the moment and on the fly. God forbid there was a way to do this that didn’t involve going 6-10 pages in the menus. Yet another awful legacy issue with this game.

I have mine at 75/85 for no other reason than that it what it used to by default back in the day.

To get a decent rotation, I have Mostert as my lead back with Sermon as my top power back and Mitchell my top third-down back on the depth chart.

in game, I just manually change the depth chart. not too annoying and it lets me get a direct handle on who's getting the ball.
