Are roster updates going to be delievered differently this year?

I'd like to be able to get them but since I'm stuck on 360 this year I wouldn't be able to if it's still the having to start an online game (well to the team select menu) to get them. Didn't seem very nice just getting the update then dropping on people last year when I had it on PS3. I was hoping they'd be available on the menus like NCAA 10.

Yeah I agree I think they should do the EA Locker thing with Madden as well. The base roster update seemed to work fine on NCAA 10, so in theory it should work just fine on Madden.

Kind of related, but are roster updates available for 360 Silver members, or Live Gold members only like last year?

The roster updates will be delivered differently in Madden 10.

The access point is no longer in "play an online game" area (how annoying was that!!!)... it has it's own individual area in the roster part of the game which is available to silver members.
