But seriously, I think Bolt would be an interesting story to watch un-fold if he tried to make the transition to NFL. Although the first time he gets hit hard would be really, really ugly and he'd probably quit. His speed is just amazing though.

Talent? His talents are only known for RUNNING FAST. We have no idea or clue what he could do on the football field. However, since he's never played football then he can't be considered talented in that area at all. I'll agree it would make an interesting story though to see him try. Thanks!

I've never understood the running with pads argument. Wouldnt that be relative. What attribute would a player have to be faster in pads? Wouldnt pads slow them down equally?

You'd think so.

But some people just don't seem to lose speed in pads.

I guess its all psychological.
