Ok. I play football and I think everyone is slowed equally with pads on.

but some people have heavier pads than others.

And to be honest. Its the thigh pads and knee pads that slow me down.

If you're shoulder pads are on tight enough, they don't really impact your speed or agility at all.

I have also played football my entire life and I dont think Bolt would be dampered anymore than any other player.

I'm sure he could run fast in pads. But it doesn't matter since he will never play in the NFL.

It's not hard to play football. I never played a down of high school football and I was a 2 year starting QB at my junior college, only being 5'8 185lbs. I'm not comparing JC to the NCAA or Professional but it's still a high level of football. Anybody could run a route, catch a ball or take a hit on the knees and in the head, it's all of matter how to prepare yourself.

Renaldo Nehemiah, Bob Hayes ...there are a few guys that were world class runners that jumped into football. Hayes had a lot more of a football background than Bolt or Nehemiah, but teams will take a shot when it comes to speed. I could see this guy getting a chance. Most likely wouldn't work out, but really, WHY NOT?
