Re: Come on EA, really?

At 6-5 and 230 pounds, Denver receiver Brandon Marshall, left, has been called "a defensive lineman playing wide receiver.

BTW, I never said he was a ninety. I only compared him relative to players at other positions.
But how often are they going to be making any interaction with a linebacker? Unless they're running a drag or an in route, they'll pretty much always go against DB's, and most DB's aren't very strong compared to other positions.

No you want to try and give me some not if they have Marshall's build crap. 6'4" 235 is 6'4" 235. Doesn't matter if the name on the jersey is Bulluck or Marshall. Who by the way are the same size.

But since you seem to think you are some expert on how big this guy is or his lack of size I will let somebody who actually plays against the man speak on that part in the next part of my response.

No there was no dodge of anything. I just didn't feel like keeping proving you wrong and tell you where you are mistaken. BUT since you asked for it here goes. First of all three is game far from a good sample size to judge a player on. Especially if they where at the start of the season and he was coming off hip surgery. Secondly if you read any scouting report on Marshall the FIRST thing you will see is about his great strenth and punishing defenders. I don't see how you think you are the know all source of this man's ability.

I nor the people I said mentioned anything about him wanting to hit people. What was said is that he DOES hit people and that's what he is going to do. They said he is the hardest man to bring down. No you don't give elusiveness for that. Elusiveness if for dodging people and making people miss not pushing them on the ground. Being that hardest to bring down means once the defender actually has his hands on you. But since you don't want to believe me or anybody else why don't you see what people who actually play against him and have seen him up close and personal have to say.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/column...tread7/seifert

http://www.denverpost.com/sports/ci_11640776

But I guess those guys who actually play in the NFL don't know what they are talking about either
Actually, you are killing me. Marshall does NOT truck people. Well, maybe he has, but he doesn't do it often. Has he ever trucked a lineman, line backer, or any player as large as he? I don't think so. He may have hit a few with a stiff arm, or slipped out of a few tackles, but no "truck". Show me some highlights where he trucked someone. I'm waiting...

And LOL at you saying Elusiveness is for making people miss. LOL! That's what spins and jukes are for. Elusiveness is the ability to slip out of tackles.

And I don't care how big people say Marshall is. Watching him play (even the picture in your article) shows me that he is not built like a linebacker. Maybe a pass-rushing specialist type defensive end, but not an everydown defensive end. Like I said, he would get killed in the trenches (specifically run plays).

That's not the point man. It has nothing to do with head-to-head player-to-player interaction. Just ratings on a scale.

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!

I hope this thread gets deleted asap.

To the original poster, you need to watch more football and have evidence to your statement.

Plenty of guys just explained to you it is position based and also that Marshall is a beast.

Yet you bash them for dishing out the truth to you.

I could of sworn everybody can edit the things they don't like, do that instead of making pointless threads about a guy's rating who you don't often watch.

I watch plenty of football.

THE RATINGS ARE NOT POSITION BASED.

You, another troll with no source for your claims, can leave.

EDIT: And I did no such bashing.
