Thanks a bunch for the feedback! I switched Searcy over to SS and bumped Sheppard up a tad bit while bumping Ellison down. Overall, it averages out.

And yes, it is very rare that I have a player rated higher than EA does or even as high as EA does. I try to go with the mindset that 75 is an average NFL starter. That means even a 76 is a good NFL starter. A 74 could be the 17th best at his position (slightly below average). To be honest, my ratings are not that low yet, so I should probably even lower them further.
