Adding player during franchise

So I am in the middle of my Jets franchise and I want to add aaron maybin to my roster. He isnt in the FA pool is there anyway to create a player?

You can't create a player my advice is find a player in the FA pool who is the same age/height/weight/skin color edit him. I've done this to add guys to my franchise works like a charm. If you look hard enough you can find guys that meat all the criteria usually. Hope that helps look at all the DEs/LBs find one that matches Maybin's height weight, yp, and age and edit him into Maybin. You might want to check the TEs as well. I usually pick a guy who I think wont get signed again if I have multiple choices.
