Madden 25 franchise progresses on points you earn during the season. You manually progress players every week based on points your earn from practices and games

Madden 13 was like that as well, but if you loaded the roster into 12 they still had potential grades. Very confusing indeed.....

Maybe the potential grades were for the CPU because I dont think the CPU "practiced" in 13 but I believe they do in 25.

I don't even mind the whole potential thing for now. I just want to get a fantasy draft going with Fisher, Joeckel etc etc on madden 12. The franchise in Madden 25 is just too slow and takes hours to get through a year. It's near impossible to play with more than one person.

So if I wanted Brett Favre to play until he's 57 years old... I just keep manually progressing him? Let me guess, I earn points by achieving unrealistic accomplishments in games like catching 5 touchdowns in a game or going beast mode in practice to get bonus points... And if I chose to play the game as a simulation of what might actually occur in a teams' gameplan each week and only score 6 TDs in a whole season for my rookie WR and choose to not spend my franchise time in practice mode, I get way fewer "points" to progress him in the offseason? Is that about right?

Oh my gosh I remember reading about this now. Back before the demo came out I think. Sounded very "arcadey" to me.

Honestly I'm not sure exactly how the game points work, the practice is 2000 pts for successfully completing the practice scenario and 1000 just for doing it and failing. I didn't even bother with progressing my players (had the CPU handle it). I just wanted to go through some years as fast as I possibly could

Update: I had a program crash and now I've got to start from scratch again... Not sure what it did to the file that was open when it crashed but that file is now damaged.
