To change teams, you need to modify a few tables with the editor. Read here for more details.

Also, this isn't too big of a deal but I couldn't help but notice 2 of the charger's best players are complete different colors than they should be, Melvin Ingram III and Casey Hayward are both very dark skinned when this roster has them as white, which I find weird since both players were actually IN madden 13 as rookies
