Are "Rosters Online" not the same as a regular roster file?

I downloaded the "Rosters Online" update, but it doesn't appear in the "Rosters section of the memory unit. It shows up in "Rosters Online". Are these not the same? If not, has the regular XBOX roster update been released?

You have to redownload the rosters in the roster dl section of my madden while you are online they are the same file but one if for online use Yeah the new rosters are up Sept 10

What if I don't have XBL? I have no way of getting online, but I downloaded the roster file from another site and put it onto my Action Replay memory card. When I tried to copy the rosters onto the Hard Drive, they went into a heading called "Rosters Online", instead of the regular "Roster" file where I need them.

Doesn't matter. Load them anyway, then save the roster over the original and you'll be fine.

I downloaded them from this site and they won't load for me offline.

you dont load em they do it for you when you turn on the Xbox

It's supposed to but when the game is autoloading my profile, EA bio, etc. it says that it's unable to load Roster Online. I tried manually loading it also but I get the same message.

*shrug* I didn't have any trouble with them at all using Action Replay.
