Any way to reset injuries?

Im trying to start a franchise, but I want to make a trade for Bennett before I do. It wont let me make the trade because he is injured in the latest roster. Id like to use latest rosters considering they have some players missing from the original roster. Anyone know if there is a way to make this trade or reset his injury status?

Yes, I am looking for the same answer. Even w/ Preexisiting injuries OFF, they still have all the injuries and IR when you start a franchise. I have found no way to reset.

Ever since Madden 2004, you couldn't release players that are listed on IR. I hate that they can't set IR as an option, becuase with the 55 man roster limit,the players on IR take up a spot that should be used for players the team sign to replace them....So, no, there is no way to take players off IR.Try turning Pre-existing injuries off before starting a franchise, but who knows if that works...
