Completed "Manifesto" download....

For anyone that has been keeping up with the "Manifesto" method of playing the game, I have completed the final draft for all settings and it is now available for download.

Combine this with the newest Roster Update, and you could be playing Madden till '06 comes out!
Download is attached....
If you have questions about the history of this incredible way of playing the game then visit:

Can any of this info be used for playing the PC version? The reason I ask is because I noticed that all the sliders seem to be based on playing on a console.

Re: Completed "Manifesto" download....

This makes me so sad... same goes for Madden 2005. I got the nostalgia bug as i was literally setting up my M16 franchise and seeing how locked down it was.

Went out and a new flat screen just for some Madden 05/NCAA 07 action and forgot how much better they actually are even with the inferior visuals.

The commentary, presentation and franchise/dynasty modes are truly better than anything EA has put out in almost a decade.

On the plus side, I am having a blast!

Re: Completed "Manifesto" download....

Amazing, I've only applied what was shown on some posts, as far as coach philosophy sliders and AI sliders, and stats and gameplay are best in all the years I've had this title. My created league is now fully functional since I can gm all 32 to better their rosters, not just keep from relocation. Total trade authority helped parity before, but better to adjust sliders for draft, since players needed to fill out are generated. The weekly gameplan now reflects the philosophy changes before each matchup, and more PA and draws than ever in 8 years of gameplay against me... in 5 games.

The create a team feature was great for generating initial talent for a parity draft, and the rookies from the NFL rosters are progressing like rookies, ratings wise, not all pros. Don't know if the coach's sliders in manifsto have changed much from the values posted, but the gameplay is not anything like stock, or AI slider mania. Coming from someone who grew up on games from Avalon Hill, like Paydirt and Bowl Bound, as well as watching the game trend towards basketball on grass, this is truly an achievement in manipulation of AI for custom playcalling for purposes of realism.

I have only played a few other titles, since I have over 60 of the historic teams edited to uniform detail, and cannot import them to other madden titles made on the ps2. I hope the manifesto will show a way to do this for the historic teams playcalling in tournaments. Even if not, I have found decent AI sliders to allow for some rushing, and limited passing (except for the AFL Tournament, air it out, baby!)

Thanks to all the effort from EVERYONE, it is truly appreciated.

Slightly off topic, but I grew up on those games too and would give anything for video game designers to use them as the pattern for sports games.

Oh well, there's always text sims I guess.

I figured I'd PM you, because I'm not sure links to other sites are permitted on OS...

However, your inbox is full...

PM me when you clear some space and I'll send you what I found...

The Manifesto, as I recall worked well with default, as well as custom rosters...

That aspect wasn't as much of a key elemet as the implementation of Coach Philosophy values, etc...
