Re: DanSF49 All-Pro All 100's Sliders

Glad everyone is enjoying these sliders. Just like someone mentioned earlier, I think that with them all maxed at 100 this is how the game was supposed to be played or "programmed to be played". Because the variation of the animations and the flow of the game is like night and day to anything else I have seen in Madden before. Maybe we all have a completly different idea of what these sliders do then what EA truly intended. Maybe with them all at 100 it opens up all the lines of code in the game and allows the game to play at its full potential. Keep the comments coming guys, I like to see how its working for everyone. Thanks.

Re: DanSF49 All-Pro All 100's Sliders

Just tried these out. Consider me a convert. Most fun game I've had in a long time. Here's the statline for my game with 6 minute quarters:

Tampa Bay (CPU) at Pittsburgh (Me)
Final Score: 31-0 Pittsburgh

PIT Roethlisberger: 22-28 240yrds 2TDs 0INTs
TB Garcia: 8-14 53yrds 0TDs 1INTs

PIT Parker: 27 carries 126 yards 2TDs
TB Graham: 12 carries 41 yards

Finally my offense played like it should. The players moved fluidly and looked so much more like their real life counterparts. Unfortunately, Tampa's offense just could never get rolling, and Garcia refused to throw a pass longer than 8-10 yards.

Most importantly, however, this game had ONLY 1 TURNOVER! Garcia threw an interception in garbage time, but before that, no turnovers.

I'm thinking all I need to do is lower my defensive sliders slightly (or play as a team with a worse defense) and these will be perfect. Amazing.

Regarding weapons, are people playing with them on or off and does it really matter. Thanks again DanSF49 for great sliders. I am finally enjoying this game.

Re: DanSF49 All-Pro All 100's Sliders

I just tried your sliders and had a pretty good game. It was the Rams vs Browns(me). I won 29-20. Here are the stats. The Rams really only had 3 good drives.

Rams vs Browns

239 Total Offense 370
102 Rushing Yards 136
137 Passing Yards 234
8 First Downs 19
4 Turnovers 2
1-5 3rd Downs 8-15

Derek Anderson - 87.9 rating, 22/32, 239 yards, 2 TD(1 rush), INT
Marc Bulger - 72.0 rating, 14/24, 143 yards, TD, INT

Jamal Lewis - 28 carries, 123 yards, TD, 4.3 avg
Steven Jackson - 6 carries, 98 yards, TD, 16.3 avg

Kellen Winslow - 6 catches, 60 yards, TD
Issac Bruce - 3 catches, 32 yards

I'll try another game and post the stats.

Re: DanSF49 All-Pro All 100's Sliders

I played another game and it seems the CPU passing game is really lacking. Also my running game seems really strong. I'll probably need to adjust those 2 things, other then that these sliders are really good. This game I could hardly pass the ball after being able to do so in my first game. My WR could not get open. I was the Eagles vs Giants. 23-13, I won.

Eagles vs Giants

309 Total Offense 251
178 Rushing Yards 127
131 Passing Yards 124
15 First Downs 14
1 Turnover 3

Donovan McNabb - 65.1 rating, 16/30, 154 yards, TD, INT
Eli Manning - 36.5 rating, 13/24, 138 yards, 2 INT

Brian Westbrook - 16 carries, 159 yards, TD, 80 long
Brandon Jacobs - 16 carries, 86 yards, TD, 21 long

Brian Westbrook - 8 rec, 69 yards, TD
L.J. Smith - 3 catches, 23 yards
Jeremy Shockey - 5 catches, 62 yards
Plaxico Burress - 3 catches, 18 yards

Re: DanSF49 All-Pro All 100's Sliders

First game of second year into a Raiders franchise (1st year simmed)

Raiders @ Broncos 27-13 (17-10 at half)

Great game again, which was over when I forced a turnover on downs just at the 2m warning at my 16 yard line. After that, I just run down the clock.

Broncos:

Jay Cutler 6/16, 47 yd 0 TD / 0 INT

Travis Henry 20/58 yd
Jay Cutler 3/19 yard

Brandon Stokley 3/23 yd
Joe Jon Finley 3/24 yd

Denvers Score was on a 101 KR by Champ Bailey. He almost had another one but I could just stop him at my 37 yd line.

Raiders:

JaMarcus Russell 18/28, 211 yd 2 TD / 1 INT

Darren McFadden 26/161 yd, TD
JaMarcus Russell 6/38 yd

Zach Miller 6/46 yd, TD
Darren McFadden 4/90 yd
Antonio Bryant 3/43 yd, TD

There is definitely something strange with these sliders. The game plays differently and it feels right in so many ways. I like it much better then all the others I have tried. I wonder if anyone has tried little variations and if it still plays correctly or if it has to be maxed out. Amazing so far. You saved the game for me. Thanks.

Very well said. Maybe EA has programmed all their games this way for years,we never know.
