Clinton Portis or Reggie Bush shouldn't get beat to the edge.

So, maybe upping the run block and lowering CPU awareness by a smidge or two would tune the running game. You can get inside runs okay because they'll collapse the pocket and make you shake loose. I've seen spurts at the highest of 20 yards and getting stuffed for three yard losses.

I'll try my modifications and see how well I do.
Do you use Lead blocker control??? I use it a ton

I usually take control of the tackle opposite the way Im running and get good results. I can get to the edge with FWP.

Again Im from NJPAPis All-Madden school of sliders and his sets always had run blocking at 0...and Ive played on his sets for most of my 08 play time.

I've found that the running and passing protection works better if you up them to 15 and reduce the CPU's awareness down to 85.

I've busted an 80 yard run with LT up the gut from a draw with those modifications. You can make it to the outside without LBC and the CPU will make the occasional mistake concerning the deep ball.

I just got powered by Oakland in the 4th quarter with those settings.

I was winning 21-3 with less than four minutes to go and then they get on a 22-3 scoring run.

Final 27-25 Dallas

Sorry that I don't have stats. It was a hell of a game though.

Im glad your getting some good results with your tweaks. For the people who might not be good at lead blocker control or maybe just don't want to fool with it, then maybe they should give those tweaks a shot.

For me, like Ive said, I've pretty much only played this game with Run Blocking at 0 and on All-Madden no less, and am fairly accustomed to that and have had good running days with FWP.

No big deal about stats....I was just hoping to create enough fun in this game again to hold us off until NCAA comes out.
