It helps for me to Slide Protect. Do any of you guys struggling to run do that?

and the receiving numbers were crazy Santa Moss had over 150 with 2tds
and i noticed the computer broke a lot of tackles which i wasn't fan of.. because it happened too often

but it was fun even though i lost! came down to the last 2 mins.

i do that.. but i still kept stuffed in the backfield

After a few games, I still really love these. My only gripe so far is that it seems like there are too many drops by my wideouts. I mean, 11 in a game by one team is a little ridiculous. I upped the wr catching to 40. Will report on the results soon.

I have everything set exactly the same as Marino. My quarters are exactly the same too.(15 minutes..25 sec runoff) I just started my franchise with the Vikings and played my first game against the Browns, and put up some huge, unrealistic numbers.

It started off good with no team scoring until the 2nd quarter, but then after that it was a statistical frenzy. Here's the stats...

Vikings- 59 Browns- 27

Passing
Rosenfels- 17-30 323 yds 4 TD 1 INT
Quinn- 17-33 317 yds 4 TD 3 INT

Rushing
Peterson- 26 car 179 yds 2 TD
Lewis- 20 car 65 yds 0 TD

Receiving
Peterson- 6 rec 158 yds 2 TD
Cribbs- 6 rec 158 yds 2 TD
Berrian- 5 rec 84 yds 1 TD
Edwards- 4 rec 42 yds 1 TD

I'm going to turn down the quarter time to either 12 or 10 minutes with 15 sec runoff..

And I can't seem to figure out what tweeks to make to the sliders to help my running game out. Any suggestions? Should I turn User Running down or something? I don't really understand quite yet how the user sliders/sub-sliders work yet.

how can you guys not run the ball? I just had 179 yards and 2 TDs. All you have to do is follow your blockers. If there is one guy to beat and you have a blocker out in front..let go of the speed burst and let the blocker do the work..then blow by them for the TD
