Looks like BSH is actually weighted LESS for a DE than an OLB.

SPD might be overly rated for DE - but it's where the OLB gets their increased OVR from most likely. Many OLBs, especially the awesome ones, are insanely fast.

Do you have to switch all defenses over to 4-3 from 3-4 if you want to use these sliders?

No, only if you want OLB(specifically ones that are 3-4) to get more sacks from simmed stats.
I really hope that patch 2 helps the simmed stats, like they say it will.
