Blazzen's "Challenging" Madden10 Sliders

I've played with several different people's sliders and I've yet to be challenged. These sliders were designed to give me a challenge each game, but also to produce realistic stats. I play with the Carolina Panthers so the main thing I found too easy was the user running game. With that said, here they are:

Settings:
15 Min Quarters
15 Sec Accel Clock
75 Speed Threshold
50 Fatigue
50 Injury
Slow Game Speed

Playcalling
- On offense I pretty much stick to ask Madden. He may suggest a play and then I'll back out and find the play but do a formation sub like putting Johnathan Stewart in on an I-Form inside running play or Williams in on a 2TE toss play. I mainly use ask Madden so I don't fall into calling money plays. I shy away from HB screens, 1 per game max.
- On defense I use ask madden to an extent. If it calls for a 4-6 Defense when the offense is coming out with 4WR I'll pick something else. I guess you could say I loosely stick to ask Madden on defense.

Slider Human/CPU

Passing
QB Accuracy 25/25
Pass Blocking 25/25
WR Catch 25/25

Running

Run Blocking 25/50
Broken Tackle 25/50

Pass D
Reaction Time 35/50
Interceptions 25/25
Pass Rush 50/50

Run D
Reaction 25/50
Block Shed 25/50
Tackle 25/50

Penalties

OL 70/80

DT 79/80
DE 79/80
LB 70/80

Coaching Sliders
I'm using the coaching sliders found in DB's Stat Accurate Thread. They are copy pasted below.

Re: Blazzen's "Challenging" Madden10 Sliders

Here are the stats from the first game of the regular season I played last night. Panthers (user) vs. Eagles (cpu)

Panthers 27, Eagles 20
Total Offense 413, 308
Rush Offense 193, 97
Pass Offense 220, 211
Turnovers 4, 2
Penalties 3 for 30 Yards, 6 for 65 yards

J. Delhomme 14/25 225yards 1TD 3INT
D. Williams 19 carries 104 Yards 2TD, 1 catch 68 yards TD
J. Stewart 16 carries 92 Yards
S. Smith 3 catches 57 yards
K. Moore 5 catches 36 yards
J. Peppers 1 sack
J. Beason 1 sack, INT
C. Munnerlyn INT

D. McNabb 18/30 216yards 1TD 2INT
M. Westbrook 20 carries 78 yards
K. Curtis 4 catches 63 yards
D. Maclin 4 catches 43 yards
O. Gaither 1 Sack
A. Jordan INT for TD

I was down 10-20 in the third quarter but I was able to force key three and outs and capitalize. The eagles had the ball with time left down 27-20, drove inside my 30 yard line but the rookie Captain Munnerlyn jumped a route and sealed the deal with a key INT.

One of Jakes picks was a lame duck throw that a DT picked off, one was an out route that was run back for 6 and the last was off his back foot with a blitz coming. John Beason picked off a McNabb pass over the middle but then fumbled it back to the Eagles during the attempted run back.

DeAngelo Williams had a 68 yard screen pass for TD. I try not to run very many HB screens but Ask Madden called it and the Eagles came with a run blitz so it was $$$.

Overall it was a good game. The eagles linebackers are weak which is why I had good success running the ball. I expect in week 3 against Dallas 3-4 defense that yards on the ground will be hard to come by.

You tell me Haha!

I haven't tested them on anything but slow so I have no idea. I welcome you to try them out on normal or fast and post your results.

Re: Blazzen's "Challenging" Madden10 Sliders

The reason I set my speed threshold at 75 is because at 75 it lowers the gap between the fast players and the medium speed players so there are less "big plays".

I would think the speed threshold would scale evenly despite what gameplay speed you are playing. I would start at 75 and adjust accordingly.
