Not "you" as in yourself. You as in "one". You know? third person singular?

Re: Sliders for the less-skilled

Detroit 21 Cleveland 20 (preseason)

Quinn 10-13 143 1 TD 1 INT
Anderson 10-20 136 1 TD 1 INT

Stafford 4-14 143 2 TD
Culpepper 4-7 25 1 INT

Harrison 16-40
Jennings 16-73

Smith 13-52
Morris 20-73

Big play was a screen to Kevin Smith for a 75 yard TD, which is what skews the Stafford numbers.

Also, Cribbs fumbled after a 1st down reception, setting up a second TD for the Lions.

Basically, the turnovers gave the Lions the win. Seemed like it wasn't that hard to run with Smith/Morris and the Lions O-line. Again, coverage of WRs seemed pretty good in first half until Browns went two-minute drill.

You became a third person pronoun?

Tight game - sounds like you're getting something that works for you?

Man, Stafford's line is funny looking. 4 for 14, but 2 of those went for TDs. Talk about making the most of your limited success!

LOL

Yeah, I figured. Hey, I suck with German. At least you can post on a message board in English. I couldn't type 3 sentences with any worth in German on here

I hear ya. It took years of practice though. This **** didn't come easy that's for sure. I can't tell you how many times I almost use "und" for "and" or "oder" for "or".

Yeah, in addition to the 75-yard screen to Smith, I caught the safeties cheating up and had Northcutt in the slot running a post. Managed to float the ball out just in time to hit him for a 49-yard score. Probably some of those incompletions are due to forcing the ball toward Calvin Johnson. I hate the receiving corps otherwise.

The games have been fun. I may be overly concerned about the turnovers. The Lions don't really force a lot of turnovers in real life and that really was due to a lack of talent both in pass rush and coverage. One thing I notice both in NCAA and Madden is that my team's secondary always ends up contenting for post-season awards. That ain't right. (Same with O-linemen, now that I think about it.)
