I found not using the r1 button to protect the ball helps. The sliders factor in fumbles, I don't touch it. If I fumble, I fumble. I'm hovering around 12 and 13 using the rams and Steven Jackson.

I personally love using "My Skill" and think it is one of the best features that Madden has.

Forgot to add like others are saying that it is a great way to set up your custom sliders once you get to a challenging level which prevents you from hitting that "brick wall".

Re: My Skill Madden 11

I'm not using any pc sliders. I also don't control defensive backs for interceptions, allowing the ai to handle that. I also found that replacing the rams playbook with the west coast labeled playbook every game has helped game flow and it leaves out some of those dumb plays the coach calls. I also change my opponents, unless they run a spread. Last game I played San fransisco who run a balanced offense. Instead of using S.F.s playbook, I used the balanced playbook in the gameplan section. Worked great.

I'm going to start a test franchise tonight and see how it pans out. I will begin posting results.

Re: My Skill Madden 11

Well, I'm still liking it. Each game has its own challenges. I only get to play a game or two each night after work, so every night it's a totally different game. I'm still working on the CPU sliders (they work, btw) to try to tweak the running game. I can't seem to find the right level for block shedding. Opponents have a ton of tackles for losses against me. Other than that, I'm enjoying the experience of a different challenge each time. I'll post my CPU sliders later...
