I tried these last night and I must admit I only played one game but as the Browns using Jake Delhomme I could not hit the broad side of a barn with the QBA being so low. I think I completed like 5 or 6 passes all game with 25+ attempts. I could not even throw easy slant plays without the ball being way off target.

Now I know Jake is pretty bad and most of his accuracy ratings are in the 70-79 range but I should have been able to hit the short drag routes. I even missed tossing the ball to my RB in the flats. So I want to bump up the accuracy a bit but I don't want to break the system you have in place with these sliders. I do want there to be a difference between using Jake and Eli or Peyton, but not to the point of frustration. Any advice?

One other question. I really struggled to stop the run with the rush reaction and break block sliders at 0. The Ravens crushed me with Ray rice running for over 200 yards with less than 20 attempts. Would you suggest I bump them up just a couple of points?

Thanks!

Good questions.

In regards to qb accuracy it is very tricky. Jake is a weak passer but you should not have issues throwing if your feet are planted and you stay in the pocket.

One thing to remember is that in Madden, if you drop back to much even in the pocket, the passing becomes even more difficult. If you want to give a slight increase to the qb accuracy then do so but I suggest this only for those that play with bad qb's, if you start to see that Jake is getting 250-300 yards games then I suggest you lower it again.

In regards to cpu run game. I feel is to easy to stop them. Big teams like Ravens and Jets, and vikings will get theirs but if you have issues then try and lower the cpu run blocking a bit but dont touch the human run defense sliders.

Let me know how that works for you.

Thanks I will try to play a couple more games tonight and with some other QB's. I play Franchise with as 4 teams so I have Browns, Colts, Giants, and Packers so my other QBs are much better. I will try the sliders as is using the other teams before I get to tweaking them.

One thing I want to explain to you guys.

If you want to raise the qb accuracy then I suggest you lower pass blocking and raise the cpu interception sliders.

If you want to make the cpu run better then lower your tackle slider a bit and slightly raise their run blocking. But not much or else you will see all of your d-line get dropped on each play.

If one thing is changed then you have to know what to counter it with.

Just hit me up if you need help.

alright 4natic, My run game is to easy. I'm getting 400 + yards a game with Jones drew, avg 10-15 yards per carry. What should I do to make the run game WAY more realistic and challenging?

Other than that, I like the sliders.

If you are having great run game which 400 is shocking to hear then something is not right with the way you set the sliders up or you are using some type of speed threshold that is breaking the gameplay.

But if you are that good then I suggest you lower your run blocking a bit and raise the cpu break block and recognition slider for the run defense till you find a happy medium

or your playing without the play clock and making every possible blocking adjustment to defeat the defense and running to the opposite side of the LBs

Re: NYGiants4Natic Madden 11 Post Patch Custom Sliders V3.5 (Final)

i havent tried these yet, and admittedly, im a newb to sliders
i will set my sliders to yours tonight!

question:
to be sure, with these sliders, if i make a silly out of pocket QB throw or throw while getting hit into heavy coverage, it should get intercepted right?

again, im newb, one thing that pisses me off with M11, is i cant throw any int's (on the default sliders), not that i want to throw a bunch of picks, but i crave realism...

If you make bad decisions, you will be picked off for the most part with the slider for interceptions the way I have it.
