Re: REAL GAME PLAY SLIDER...... GOT HELP BUT I MADE IT GREAT

Alright, I turned up the penalties because there weren't hardly any called in my first game. Check out these stats. Way more realistic in my opinion (By the way, Statistics is broken. There was a fumble return for a TD called back because it was not a fumble but it still showed up in the scoring. Why can't EA Sports fix that? That error has been there since Madden 08. Sheesh!!!):

Re: REAL GAME PLAY SLIDER...... GOT HELP BUT I MADE IT GREAT

2nd game looks good. Rushing appeared to get out of hand in the 1st one... but neither of the teams in question are all that well suited to stopping the run. Not to mention if you're using that 0 threshold it's near impossible to stabilize the run game anyway.

If you keep having penalty issues, the original penalty sliders are in my thread.

Post up a few more stat sheets if you don't mind. If I ever decide to look into user Vs. user sliders it might provide some good feedback on the matter since you control both sides offensively.

Re: REAL GAME PLAY SLIDER...... GOT HELP BUT I MADE IT GREAT

Well, this game was a bit easy and I've decided not to finish it. The scores already gotten out of hand and its been rather boring. I'm also too lazy to go into a ton of depth in copying all the stats, but I'll give you a brief run down.

I quit about the seventh minute in the fourth quarter, but I could tell the game was already getting out of hand when I had scored nearly thirty points in the first half.

49ners 47 (Me)
Texans 16

Passing
Alex Smith - 16/26, 272 Yds, 4 TDs, 1 Int, Lng 34, Comp % 61
Matt Schaub - 22/38, 262 Yds, 1 Td, 1 Int, Comp % 57

Rushing
Frank Gore - 25 Atts, 70 Yds, 2.8 Avg, 0 Tds, Lng 15
Arian Foster - 14 Atts, 43 Yds, 3.0 Avg, 0 Tds, Lng 15

Receiving
Andre Johnson - 8 Rec, 141 Yds, 1 Td
Owen Daniels - 5 Rec, 76 Yds, 0 Td

Vernon Davis - 4 rec, 78 Yds, 1 Td
Josh Morgan - 3 Rec, 46 Yds, 1 Td

Defense
My highest tackler was Willis with 5 tackles, but tackles were pretty well spread out between my players as they typically are. I rarely have anyone pick up large tackle numbers.

I sacked Schaub a total of 4 times, but I know I could have added even more now that they would be pushing the ball down the field more. Registered 1 int.

Summery

I know its a pretty lazy stat description, but hopefully it'll do. I also returned a kick for a TD, as well as nailed four fg's. I felt pretty unstoppable in moving up and down the field. being incredibly effecient. It was way to easy to throw down field, and I felt a lot of that had to do with the opponents play calling. I trailed by six minutes in possession time, and didn't accumulate a huge amount of yardage, but every possession felt like a TD.

Re: REAL GAME PLAY SLIDER...... GOT HELP BUT I MADE IT GREAT

Yeah, everything following these sliders down to substitutions.

This has been an issue I've had with the madden bit since 2010. Its not that I can't make the game challenging or realistic scoring, I just can't make the game realistic scoring without unrealistic stats. I often just have really good defense in this game, and usually end up getting good field position because they have to put from there 20, and when I'm playing I never feel like I need to punt. I typically don't throw it down the field really far though, unless the guy beats his man really bad at the line. Otherwise I get my yardage off a lot of slants and short crossing patterns with speedy receivers that then turn it up field. If they are in man coverage the defender always seems to loose his man over the middle if its a shallow route.

I've had this very same issue with Playmakers and Mike's sliders. I feel like it has a lot to do with the opposing play calling, I've tried with all sorts of player thresh holds, and this seems to be like the millionth slider I've tried.
