Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

NEW sliders!

BOTH CPU AND HUMAN must be set the same.

QBA 40
Pass Block 50
WR Catch 45

Broken Tackles 30
Run Blocking 30
Fumbles 25

Pass React 10
Interceptions 15
Pass Rush 0

Rush React 15
Block Shed 20
Tackling 20

Gave me the following results;
Ravens 24 Redskins 21 (preseason game)

Total Offense Ravens 264, Redskins 273
Rushing Yards Redskins (Without Torain) 51, Ravens 96
Passing Yards Redskins 222 , Ravens 168
Turnovers Redskins 6 (4 INTS), Ravens 2 (1 INT)
Penalties Redskins 1-15, Ravens 4-52

Individual stats
WASH
Passing
Beck 77.4, 7-13, 115 yds, 53%, 1 INT
Mc Nabb, 26.2, 10-18, 75 yds, 55%, 2 INTs
Grossman, 34.4, 7-12, 53 yds, 58%, 1 INT

Rushing
Davis,14-38, 2.7 ypc, 1 fumb,
K. Williams 5-10, 2.0 YPC
Helu, 1-3, 3.0 YPC
Defense
Holliday 1 sack
Doughty 1 sack
Alexander 1 sack

Ravens
Passing

Flacco, 68.6, 16-23, 147 yds, 69%, 1 INT
Bulger, 86.7, 4-5, 24 yds, 80%, 0 INTs
Cantwell, 67.7, 2-4, 23 yds, 50%, 0 INTs

Rushing
McGahee, 16-36, 2.2 YPC, 1 TD,
Rice, 11-30, 2.7 YPC, 0TD
Allen, 11-30, 2.7, 1 TD
Cantwell, 3- (-)2, -0.6, 0 TDs

Defense
R. Lewis, 1 sack
Redding 1 sack.

Observations;
Not happy with YPC in rushing game. First two plays from scrimmage were turnovers by the Ravens taken back for TDs. I saw no 20+ yd carries by RBs, that would greatly drop YPC.
Couple of gratuitous sacks in 4th qtr by third stringers.
However, the game WAS enjoyable to watch.
I'm going to play my next game on my schedule, and try to keep same sliders. Let's see if I can get two games in a row. Packers vs Colts, Manning vs Rodgers; That ought to test the offensive numbers.
Just a point of note, when a QB takes a knee, does that go as a sack?

Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

Packers 25 ---Colts 9 (Pre Season)

Rushing Packers 100, Colts 47
Passing Packers 305, Colts 220
Turnovers Packers 4 (2 INTS), Colts 3 (3 INTS)
Penalties Packers 4-59, Colts 0-0.

Packers

Passing

Rodgers 80.5, 17-23, 213, 73%, 1 TD, 2 INTS
Harrell 87.5, 2-5, 68, 40%, 0 TDs, 0 INTS
Flynn 60.9, 5-9, 24, 55%, 0 TDs, 0 INTs

Rushing

Jackson 13-59, 4.5
Grant 10-22, 2.2
Green 9-19, 2.1
Harrell 4 - (-)8 , -2.0
Starks 3-8, 2.6

Defensive

Greg Jennings 1 sack
Poppinga 1 sack
Neal 1 sack

Colts

Passing

Manning 25.5, 9-18, 92, 50%, 0 TDs, 2 INTs
Painter, 61.4, 5-13, 64, 38%, 0 TDs, 0 INTs
McAfee, 53.2, 7-15, 64, 46%, 1 TD, 1 INT

Rushing

Addai 14-34 , 2.4
Brown 6-4, 0.6
Hart 2-9, 4.5
Carter 1-0, 0.0

Defensive
0 sacks

Observations;
Well, it could have been worse for Manning. I mean he could have had a broken neck, right?
It's fairly obvious now where changes need to be made.
Passing Comps, lower INTs, and increase YPCs.

So I will raise QBacc to 50.
And I will now increase run blocking to 35 (edited)
And just for the heck, I'll raise Holding to 55 on Penalties

Falcons at Steelers next. Unfortunately Matt Ryan is out. So Falcons passing game might not be fair sample. Back in two hours...

Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

Steelers 35 .....Falcons 14 (In the Rain)

Total offense Falcons 304 Steelers 418
Rushing Falcons 66 Steelers 139
Passing Falcons 238 Steelers 279

Turnovers Falcons 10 !!!! 7 INTs Steelers 4 2 INTS

Falcons

Passing

Redman 21.5, 16-33, 147, 48%, 0 TDs, 5 INTS
Wilson 17.8, 5-15, 99, 33%, 0TDs, 2 INTS

Rushing

Turner 14-41, 2.9 1 TD, 1 Fumb
Rodgers, 4-21, 5.2, 0 TDs, 0 Fumb
Snelling 4-4, 1.0, 0 TDs, 0 Fumb

Defense

Franks 1 Sack

White 1 sack

Steelers
Passing

Roethlisberger 59.8, 13 for 28, 168, 46%, 2 TDs, 2 INTS
Batch 132.4, 6-9, 76, 67%, 2TDs, 0 INTs
Leftwich 97.9, 5-7, 61, 71%, 0TDs, 0 INTs

Rushing

Mendenhall 15-49, 3.2, 0 TDs, 1 Fumb
Redman 12-42, 3.5, 1 TD, 0Fumb
B.Batch 11-30, 2.7, 0TD, 0 Fumb
Johnson, 4-14, 3.5, 0TDs, 0 Fumb
Dwyer 1-1, 1.0, 0TDs 0Fumb
Wallace 1-3, 3.0, 0TDs, 2Fumb

Defense

Woodley, 1 Sack

Observations; Ugly Ugly game. Raising QB acc causes QB's to force their passes deep into coverage. Deep passes get intercepted more. I can forgive the fumbles because of the rain. And Chris Redman is not Matt Ryan.
Running Game, I originally set run blocking up to 40. But after Mendenhall and Turner both turned in 80 yd runs back to back to back in the first two minutes of the game, I restarted with the Run Block at only 35. You see the result.
So now I will lower QBacc back down to 40 like it was before. I think I'll leave Run Block at 35, and drop Holding pen back down to 51. Let's see if I can get one more yard per carry.
Also lowering Rush Reaction down to 10.

Next game will be Panthers-Bengals.
But will have to wait until tomorrow. Til then...

Observations;
Panthers looked good. Bengals messed up stats.
Running game much improved. Thats where I want it, but with more balance with passing game.

BTW, watching NFL redzone.. Gameplay needs to be opened up a lot. Might raise game speed. But for now playing a second game with same sliders. Bears and Titans in two hours...
Hang with me guys

Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

They appear to be getting closer. That is a good thing. The turnovers still seem like a lot though. I wouldn't mess with the yards per carry too much...........they may even out over the season. Guys do average less that 3 yards per carry some games. Guys should have a bunch of carries where they get maybe 1 to 3 yards, and it will be the big carries that up their YPC average.

To anwer your question, I am not sure how many 20+ yard carries I saw. Don't have my PS3 on right now, and I am watching football.

On another note, I think that there are way too many defensive touchdowns with these sliders.

Re: Shadia147's CPU vs CPU Sliders, 15 mins, All-Madden

I've noticed a few myself. I want a few, but not two or three in a game.
My answer to that would be that if I cut down the turnovers, the TD returns should go away as well. If you're seeing maybe ten turnovers in a game, then it would just make sense that a percentage of those would go for 6 the other way,
Now... the good news!
Just finished Titans -Bears.
I think you're going to be pleased.
