I don't get how playmakers was deciding the WR catch rating? please explain the formula for that
I'm not 100% positive
Once you set your sliders......your QB Acc & WR Catch should always stay unless your starting QB goes down, then you adjust the CPU QB Acc & WR Catch before the kickoff of each game.
I'm playing a game right now with the updated set in post #1 of the thread and it's playing great - I have a feeling I'm going to lose my 1st game of the season.
The Giants travel to Foxboro to face the undefeated Patriots in a torrential rain storm at Gillette Stadium. The teams traded field goals on their opening posessions and then Eli Manning hit Bear Pascoe in the flat as the Patriots brought the house on a blitz and Pascoe escaped a tackle and went 74 yds down the sideline for a TD to make it 10-3 Giants. New England tied the game 10-10 midway through the 2nd quarter on a Tom Brady 1 yd TD pass to Rob Gronkowski. The Giants took a 17-10 lead with just under 2:00 to play in the half on a TD run by Ahmad Bradshaw. The Giants added another FG after a 3 & out by the Pats offense to make it 20-10. Brady led the Pats offense in the hurry up and they were able to get a FG from Gostkowski and the Patriots would go to halftime trailing the Giants 20-13. The Patriots got a huge defensive play in the 3rd quarter when Jerod Mayo absolutely blew up Brandon Jacobs in the hole on a 3rd & 2 causing Jacobs to fumble, the fumble was picked up by Sergio Brown who returned it 50 yds for a TD to tie the game 20-20. Garrett Hartley kicked his 3rd FG of the game to give the Giants a 23-20 lead heading into the 4th quarter. Hartley made it 26-20 with his 4th FG of the game in the 4th quarter. New England was threatening to take the lead as the had the ball on the Giants 20 with 4:00 remaining, Brady looked for Aaron Hernandez but was picked off by Deion Grant on the 5 yard line and the Giants took back posession. The Patriots defense came up with the stop and the Giants were forced to punt it away and give the ball back to Tom Brady and the Patriots. New England would start on their own 20 yard line with 1:48 on the clock trailing by 6 points with 2 timeouts. Brady completed his 1st 2 passes of the drive and had the patriots out to midfield when Deion Grant came up with his 2nd interception of the 4th quarter and took it all the way back to the end zone for a TD, NY converted the 2 pt conversion and suddenly had a 34-20 lead and that would be the final score as the Giants hand the Patriots their 1st loss of the season.
* The combination of the Giants defense and rain shut down the Patriots offense as Benjarvus Green-Ellis couldn't get anything going on the ground.
* Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski left the game with a back injury in the 4th quarter and did not return. He is not expected to miss any further time though.
* Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw was knocked out of the game with an Abdominal Tear. Brandon Jacobs filled in nicely after Bradshaw's injury and will get the bulk of the carries as Bradshaw is expected to miss a couple games. MLB Jonathan Goff also left the game with a Broken Collarbone and will miss significant time.

I have to ask. When using the QB accuracy chart, do we use the high end for the CPU or the low end? I mean do we set Kevin Kolb to 18 or to 82 for the CPU. I have used playmakers sliders for awhile and I know he started using the lower end sliders for the CPU and now has 2 sets based one using either the high end cpu accuracy or the low end accuracy. He also started setting the WR catch rating to whatever would make the CPU accuracy and WR catch equal 100. So Kolb would have 18 Accuracy rating and WR catch would be set to 82. Just asking what you personally use to be clear. I love your sliders, I liked playmakers but had a few issues, it seems you had the same because your sliders have made the game near perfect for me. Only issues I still have are getting my linebackers a realistic number of tackles, and QB accuracy seems to be low. Aaron Rodgers went 13/37 for 190 yards, no TD's and 3 INT's in my second game, I play as the Panthers. This is why I'd like to clarify what QB accuracy you use and which catch rating you use for the CPU. Thank you so much for the effort you put into this!

Reason: word correction

You are supposed to use the low end for the HUMAN and the high end for the CPU
I use the WR Catch rating listed in the chart for both the HUM & CPU QB's
Glad you like the sliders, I'm going to the Patriots game vs. the Jets today......I'm gonna try to play a game later tonight if I'm not too intoxicated
I'm doing a Jags Franchise and I'm in the third week. I have been playing on All-Madden and I actually won the first game against the Titans 20-13 then lost to the Jets 40-14. I'm gonna try out your sliders and post how it went, my next game is against the panthers.
The running game for me was wayyyy too easy. Both me and the cpu went off with our running backs. Jones-Drew is a beast no lie but I don't see him getting over 200 yards haha maybe I guess it is one game and their entire starting linebacker core was hurt but Newton barely threw the ball. They were down big for a while and never tried throwing it I don't get that. So I will probably raise the run defense reaction time for both sides.
