Adjusting sliders for the CCM?

to all the slider gurus out there...
i read a lot abt slider problems in the CCM but now i decided to start the first CCM myself.
so first of all it seems that my own slider set that i made didnt carry over into that mode, everything is set to 50 (user and cpu), which is the same as"all pro" difficulty in play now.
even when i go to league settings and change the skill level to rookie, pro, all madden, no matter what, the sliders dont change as they would do when selecting a difficulty for play now. everything is stuck at 50. even when i raise the user sliders above 50 and then select "all madden" in the league settings (which should lower them to 25 right) they all stay at above 50.
so lets say when i have all "player skill" sliders at 100 (=rookie) and at the same time select skill level "all madden" what is the difficulty im playing at ?

and how should i adjust those sliders then? my "play now" slider set is based on "pro" difficulty. so should i select "pro" in the league settings and at the same time raise the league sliders from 50 to my liking?
