Coach Mode Sliders (Test)

As an avid coach mode player I decide to throw together some slider settings I have been messing with and some of the test results I have gotten.
This is my first attempt as I would normally wait and use someone else ...
Would love feed back ..

For testing purpose I set everything equal for both User and CPU
I used Conventional Playcalling, Ask Madden and would pick 1 of 3 plays that came up.
I never audibled out of the play nor did I hot route any receivers. I wanted these test to be straight up nothing fancy.

I tried to change things up with the teams I used based on their strengths and weakness.

Here are the settings I have been messing with and there results so far

Again Everything equal for both Human and CPU

UPDATED SETTINGS AS OF 10/18/2012
All-pro
15 Min Quarters
Conventional Play Calling
Accelerated Clock - 18 seconds
Camera - Broadcast
Injuries - 35
Fatique -60
Game Speed Very Slow ( I only do this because I feel there is alot of little details I miss on higher speeds )
Speed Threshold 10

Passing
QB Accuracy - 45
Pass Block - 30
WR Catch - 45

Rushing
Broken Tackles - 35
Run Blocking - 45
Fumbles - 20

Pass Defense
Reaction Time - 20
INT - 20
Pass Rush - 40

Rush Defense
Reaction Time - 10
Block Shedding - 50
Tackling - 20

Special Teams
FG Power - 52
FG Accuracy - 40
Punt Power - 45
Punt Accuracy - 70
Kick Power - 52

I did some research on the net regarding the average time a QB holds the ball before throwing it. One site I found said in studying the NFL for a 2 year period the average time before a qb would throw the ball was 3 seconds.
I adjusted Pass Blocking and Pass Rush until I found an area where the QB would release the ball on average around 3 seconds after receiving the snap.
The rush from the defense feels about right. The QB isnt able to sit in the pocket all day and the defense is able to apply pressure with out getting a sack on every play. There were exceptions to this such as only rushing 3 and of course QBs moving around in the pocket
I found that when using the Texans against Pitt, Roethlisberger would occasionally slide around in the pocket to buy more time and sacks fall in about right.
I set the Tackling to 15 for the fact RB and WR would fight more for that extra yard
Punting Power Lowered to 45. Anything higher and I was averaging between 48 and 52 yards a punt ...may lower further after more testing ..

I have tested atleast 12 to 15 games since the patch was released. I only started tracking the last 4 ..
Below I will post my results..

Again appreciate feed ...

Thanks, Cage

Re: Coach Mode Sliders (Test)

In this game I used the Texans.
My goal was to use 2 teams I felt were pretty even across the board and in overall rating
I originally had it set to 10 mins quarters. So these are results based on 10 min quarters. I raised to 12 after this game as the number of plays run by each team felt low compared to a normal NFL Game.
On several occasions Roethlisberger scrambled out of the pocket when pressured and created some nice plays down field.

Re: Coach Mode Sliders (Test)

In this game I used N.E.
I set them against a low rated team to see how their offense would do against there Defense.
Brady had no trouble picking apart there D.
Had screen play to R.Gronkowski turn into a 36 yard td. The blockers set up nicely. Brady waited for the rush then lobbed the ball over the defenders. Looked amazing on replay.
Having a hard time rushing ...

Re: Coach Mode Sliders (Test)

In this test game I decided to go High power pass offense against an A+ running back.
I controlled the Vikings.
Stafford picked the Vikings secondary apart in this game. The Vikings could do nothing to stop them. And the Lions D line just stopped every run play thrown at them. The play calling for both teams felt very real. Being down 17 to 0 towards the end of the 3rd the Vikings abandoned the run for the most part and tried to air it out. The lions on the other hand pounded the ball in the 4th and kept the ball away from the Vikings Offense.

Re: Coach Mode Sliders (Test)

What about the auto-subs sliders? Does that need to be adjusted any?
