Well, I was playing on 50, then moved it up to 80. It definitely limits mobile QBs, but at the same time makes guys like Big Ben quicker than they should be. I played on 0 in 13 and haven't tried it with these sliders yet, but I'm planning on it.
Plays where the guards roll out to the other side to block on a run or the FB is in blocking, those will be stronger because those bigger guys will be running faster. But, LBs with speed in the 80s have a much higher chance of breaking through or catching up to the HBs. I guess it's just one of those give-take scenarios. I'm about to fire up another game in my CFM and I'll put it to 0 and see how it goes. I feel with it at 100, the guys with really high speed get knocked down a few notches, while the guys with really low speed get bumped up a huge amount.
Edit: Well, I just went in to put Threshold at 0 and it was already there. So I must've put it there before last game? Weird. Either I had a brain fart or there's a ghost in my xbox. That's probably why my RE felt so slow. I'm unsure which I like though.

Apparently the Rams got Tebow lol. This game was a blow out. Wilson was dead on almost the whole game. Tebow couldn't really do much. You can see Percy Harvin made some huge plays. I think it was two plays that were over 50 yards. Each one was a curl route where he broke a tackle right after the catch and his speed is like 96 or something, and both times he was caught by the FS at ~5 yd line. That's why I don't like 0 threshold lol. I'll keep testing with it, because the Rams just dropped the ball here.
1st week of the regular season, and boy was it a nail biter. Playing as Saints vs Falcons. Game started out with both teams trading scores and was tied 13-13 at the half. I received 2nd half kickoff and drove down for a field goal. Falcons came right back and scored a TD to take a 20-16 lead. Steven Jackson got hurt, so they abandoned the running game except for a few runs to keep me honest but Ryan was on fire! They scored again to go up 27-16. I scored a TD on a short run by Ingram but went for, and missed, the 2-pt conversion. Falcons next possession they run a fake punt on 4th and 1 from midfield. I break it up but can't do much on offense so I settle for a FG...now down 27-25 with under 3 minutes to go. Falcons stall at midfield at the 2:00 warning. Punt to me...touchback. Three quick completions get me to the 40, but then miss on three straight passes so it's 4th and 10 with 48 seconds left. Graham breaks open at the last minute for a clutch catch to get the ball to 25 yd line. One quick run by Thomas and the Hartley wins it as time expires on a 36-yd FG!!! Saints Win!! Saints Win!! Saints Win!!
So just to give an update, I've played a few games in the new season with these sliders and am having a blast. I just finished a game against the Bengals where the score ended up being 0-0 up until the fourth quarter. Games have been incredibly fun.
One issue I was having early on was I felt scores were getting out of hand. I realized it was due to starting position due to easily returning kicks and punting. So now I just simulate special teams and I'm getting amazing results.

These sliders rock, thanks again.
Thanks for the feedback. I've seen a few long KO returns, but I've also been tackled inside the 20. Punt return average does seem a little high, not sure how to correct that though. I'm glad you're enjoying them.
My KO power is at 53, because with it at 50 I rarely see the CPU kick it deep and that's just not how it goes in the NFL currently. But, when I kick it I try to hit it below max power so they can return the ball. Anyway, the last game I played I returned the first KO with Percy Harvin for a TD, 101 or 102 yards. At around the 50 I see a flag thrown. OF COURSE, it was clipping.
Kind of ridiculous how they make penalties in this game, especially clipping. I've never seen that called in a game. But, I did like it because you see that often. A huge play completely negated by a penalty. I just wish the penalties didn't affect game play and they made more sense. Like, how cool would it be as a coach to be able to tell your players to play aggressively? They'd be a lot more grabby and physical, increasing coverage, dropped passes, picks, but have a higher chance of drawing DPI. Why am I not the lead designer? C'MON!
I mentioned my last game...I played it with Threshold at 0 again. By the second quarter it at 17-0 me. But the other team came back and I think it ended 27-17. It's still a tough call for me with Threshold. Have you tried a high setting yet? And I'm pretty sure a really low PCI will make returns much harder, but it hurts other parts as you know.
has anyone tried these on all pro? i used yours last year and i think they were all pro and i loved them.
Last year's sliders were All-Madden as well. These should be challenging, but not to the point where you feel like the CPU is cheating. Try them on All-Madden and let me know what you think.
