I contribute this win to 3 things.
1. R. Wilson did not start due to an injury he got in week 2
2. M. Cassell was out during the 2nd quarter because of injury. He returned late in the 3rd.
3. They got away from the run in the 2nd half. not that it mattered. Passing game killed but the run threat being gone really helped
That was a great game. The threat of a loss is real. best part is that so far, I haven't had any WTF moments. things play out how you expect them too. WRs drop balls when they're stuffed by linebackers coming across the middle. Looking forward to more games. So far I feel no need to change anythin.
Preseason week 4 = blowout.
other team had 8 guys out from injuries and a few more were hurt in the game. thought tashard choice had disappeared and it kinda disappointed me but then he came back in right before the end of the game. It seems like the players ability to recover gets lower as the game goes on. He went from only being out one or 2 plays in the 2nd quarter to being out a whole drive and coming in the next one in the 4th. Love it
Yeah, from what I understand they progressively get more tired during the game and it takes longer for them to recover. It's good to see he did come back later in the game. Did he miss an entire quarter or just that 1 drive? I wish auto-subs weren't broke year after year.
Hot and cold streaks appear to have a pretty big impact with these to. In that last game, my d-line was hot, other teams online was cold so my guys wreaked havoc on the QB
That's awesome. I'm liking what I am hearing. I'm stuck working right now, but after I'm done I am going to fire up a coach mode game with your settings. Have you changed any of the penalty sliders around since the first page?
Maybe the receivers out/in needs to be slightly modified so they aren't rotating as much as HB's. Are you seeing any of the OL substituting? Normally take OL, QB CB, LB, TE, FB and S/SS down to 0/1 since they hardly come off the field in real life. Basically, the only ones who SHOULD sub in and out are HB, DE and DT's.
Nothing has changed, I'm going to update the OP and put all the settings up.
My safeties rotate on long drives, but J. Byrd is out and the others have poor stamina so I'm sure that's the reason. All other positions stay in from what I've noticed. D-line and HBs rotate most, as they should. The only time I've seen other rotation is if the starter has poor stamina. O-line doesn't rotate and neither does TE/Fb, LBs, Cb, or QB. So I'd say auto subs are pretty on point in the games I've played
