I don’t know if it is a combination of me changing the team coaching profiles and the sliders but the stats for the cpu look very good my roommates reaction of a true redskin fan has also lead me to believe that this idea look very good fellas.

Now for break block I took the average of the front 4 defensive linemens’s strength I tried to use the p-blk r-blk but couldn’t because the numbers are way to low.

I’m going to keep testing these and will post more later I’m still thinking about using this idea but take the avg of all players to come up with 1 universal slider set but I will wait and see.

Re: Team slider project for Madden.

How about using the Average of Strength for all 11 starters on D, to get a break block slider??

Re: Team slider project for Madden.

Yeah your probably right about that but I just had a hell of game Ravens(me) vs Eagles final score 17-14 ravens win. This was a preseason game so the starters played the first half ending with the score 10-6 ravens.

The game was hands down awesome and I will be using this way of developing my sliders. Now every team will play differently and preparation will be key.

Also the first time I played the game Mcnabb lit me up for 417 yds but because I went and changed the offensive and defensive strategies the eagles came out running and didn't stray away from it at all.

Here are the stats from my awesome game.

Game stats:
Ravens
Score = 17
Tot Off = 327
R-yds = 129
P-yds = 198
First downs = 20
P ret yds = 0
K ret yds = 60
Tot yds = 387
Give away = 1
Take away = 1
3rd conv = 7-14
4th conv = 1-2
2pt conv = 0-0
Off rdz att = 3
Rdz td = 2
Rdz fg = 0
Rdz% = 66%
Penalties = 2-20
Top = 15:47
Punt-avg = 1-56.0
***Drops 1***sacked 2***Deflections 4***Pancakes 34***
Individual stats:
K. Boller 15-26 179yds, 1td, 1int, 57%
M. Shipp 18car 68yds, 3.7 avg
K. Johnson 5rec 61yds

Eagles
Score = 14
Tot Off = 281
R-yds = 108
P-yds = 173
First downs = 16
P ret yds = 0
K ret yds = 81
Tot yds = 362
Give away = 1
Take away = 1
3rd conv = 8-14
4th conv = 1-1
2pt conv = 1-1
Off rdz att = 2
Rdz td = 1
Rdz fg = 1
Rdz% = 100%
Penalties = 2-10
Top = 16:13
Punt-avg = 2-36.0
***Drops 0***sacked 0*** Deflections 7***pancakes 21***
Individual stats:
D. McNabb 6-10 83yds, 60%
B. Westbrook 16car 67yds, 4.1avg,
T. Owens 5rec 64yds 1td

Great game best one I have had since getting madden 2005. I thought All-Madden was the best level but All-pro with this team slider idea is the way to go.

Or the avg of speed and strength together since some like to plow to the qb while other will speed rush.

Dont relie so much on the stats when using this concept. Use the feel of the game. Was the gameplay good. The stats will fall inline.

As for break block I like the speed and strength combo and am testing it out right now.

I love the idea of the avg of everyplayer. But you have to do it by prositions.

Could you please post the sliders setting so we all could see them.

Re: Team slider project for Madden.

I post the stats so you can see the type of game it was and it was one hell of a game very fast paced but controlled. There were plenty of momentum changes and it just had me on the edge of my seat.

The first half was one of the hardest halfs of football I have ever played on the console, I mean 10-6. Usually you see people posting the end score 43-38 and stating that it was the best game ever.

17-14 is a game and I am very good when it come to run defense and offense periode I didn't feel like I had comntrol of the game until 2:00 left in the 4th quarter.

This was a preseason game so after the half they took out my starters but even they were just going at it. Sometimes I find that the comp will give up on the lower levels but not this time.

I will keep testing and post some more.

Now about break block I think the average of the speed and strength of the 11 defenders should be perfect.

I will post the sliders that I used but they are for the Ravens and Eagles and I don't think they will work with any other teams besides the two, and if you think about it they shouldn't.

Sp teams though would not be good for this because at 8 I can hit 47yard field goals with stover of the ravens 49 would be his long so any higher and his stats will inflate.
