What do you think the price of Madden 2006 will be now that it's the only game in town?

My guess is that it will be priced at 50 bucks. Even great games like Halo and San Andreas that don't have any competition go for $50. I can't see EA going any higher than that.

Im thinking $59.99 because they want to get that sticker price shock over with so they can charge that for the next 5 years and also they will want to make up the costs of the exclusive NFl licenses they just bought.

like 95% of the new games that come out, all genre's are 50 bucks, why would this change?

Stupid poll IMO.

Fans really aren't stupid enough to spend 60 or 70 bucks on a game, even if it is the only one of its kind.

I would pay $90 for a really good game (Madden with ESPN's presentation...). I would pay $150 for a college game that blew my socks off. And I would pay that every year.

However, Madden 2006 will be $50. That is the end of the story, and anyone who thinks it will be more than that is a fool.
