good defensive plays and offensive plays

im pretty sure im not the only person who goes through this but im pretty good in madden but wheni went over my cousin house he beats me every time and its becasue he uses slants, post, and corner routes especially shotgun slot corners where the WR runs the slant routes to the sideline and he either gets a big play or a touchdown everytime and i also just started playing online and was like 12-0 then i played against some top 5000 players and lost 6 gams and a row because they do the same damn plays sum bull had da titans and yes TYRONE CALICO had like 16 catches for like 250 and 4 tds thats crazy anyway to stop that play??? and if so are there any great defensive playbooks or offensive playbooks i can use?? because my offense gets shutdown too.

any help on how to stop these type of passing plays or what the play is called so i cam learn how to stop it? or is like the easy way to win and nobody wants to tell???
