Does anyone know how to change player jersey numbers?

I have the pc version but it might be the same process in the console version.

this is after starting a franchise, is it possible?

Console version - Go to 'View Rosters', then click on a player and choose 'Edit Player'. Then choose 'Information' and you'll see where to edit their number.

And it's possible in or out of Franchise.
