I'm pretty sure you play football games for fun, not because you need to satisfy your football cyber-fix........ if it's not fun when it comes out, don't cop. You'll be alright....... there will be SOMETHING that can fill that void........

Come on. No one can claim that their NASCAR franchise isn't lightyears better than it was three or four years ago. You may not care for it, but surely you'll admit it has gotten better?

Actually, the progress that the NASCAR Thunder franchise has made since EA got their exclusive deal pretty much refutes all the "EA has no reason to try" statements we've seen around here the last few weeks.

No

Did FIFA got better once it had the exclusive rights to nearly every major leagues in the world?

No

How can they dare to claim that Madden will still improve? EA's record is against them. They are just laughing at us.
You are ********, big difference from FIFA to Madden, and it will improveme. One is a sucessful soccer franchise that makes an X amount, whereas Madden makes x times 100 more than FIFA

Try a little perspective, you sound like it's a personal attack.

No just an insult to our intelligence

I'm pretty sure you play football games for fun, not because you need to satisfy your football cyber-fix

Think again

Nascar 2004 did improve over 2003, but the EA Nascar series is still way behind what the competition made before the exclusive Nascar deal. It is the same thing for FIFA, the game did improve but it looks like utter garbage when you compare it with Winning Eleven.

Thanks I always like to be insulted when I want to discuss sport video games. It's nice to see you chose only my FIFA comment and not the Nascar one to prove your point.....

Wow. Let's see IIRC PES/WE arrived on the scene in 1993 and it was only a Europe-Japan only release for a number of years and only ported over to the states after a clamor to Konami from people stateside who had the chance to play the game in Europe and Japan who swears it is a very very superior product to FIFA despite the fact FIFA has all the exclusives. And btw, NCAA Football looks like it improves because Madden engine+college tweaks+college uniforms=NCAA Football 2005

I like Madden but just look at the track record. They really were't putting any real effort into innovating the game every year BEFORE they had NFL exclusive rights so what makes you think thats going to change now? If anything the have less of an incentive to innovate. People get your head out of the clouds. EA executives worry about EA executives FIRST. You and I come second. With no competition now why should they spend the money to innovate the game when they know people are gonna buy it anyways. Even if some people get mad and dont there are more than enough "casual" gamers out there to still buy it and fatten thier pockets.

People need to get a reality check.

Whenver they release the next gen game it will be 1) a next gen game; 2) on a new engine. That's significant improvement already.
