Do any of you have Winning Eleven? These screenshots are on par with the current cutscenes from todays consoles. In fact, the last two look like they were taken from the same engine that generates the CG intro for Winning Eleven.

My point: Since these screenshots resemble todays CG intros on todays consoles I would imagine they are in game shots for the next gen. Why show a screenshot from a cutscene that looks the same graphics level wise as those on today's consoles. These types of playable graphics are where the industry has been heading for awhile (i.e. very high poly count).

See this is what I am saying. It looks like a CG movie like shrek or something. Not even the machines they use in hollywood can renders those in realtime at 60 fps. If you tried rendering something like shrek 2 on the most powerful mac or pc with a dual 4GHz processor or the like it would still take weeks to get 10 mins of the movie rendered.

So yeah, I don't believe it before I see a gameplay movie on gamespot or ign or whereever of a player being controlled by someone.

After much debate and trepidation I think I have the answer. I am sorry to bust everyone's bubble but I strongly believe that these are CUT SCENES and not screen shots of actual gameplay.

We want to believe that is gameplay so bad..but it is not..it cant be. Gameplay footage would be from behind the offense and slightly above. It would be obvious that its gameplay footage...this looks more like some sort of movie or cutscene...I hate to be the bearer of bad news..but thats my 2 cents.
