Surely you understand why people are concerned? MANY of Madden's gameplay and A.I. flaws accompanied its trek from the ps1 to the next-gen ps2. So unless you have some inside info, it isn't the mortal lock you make it seem to be. I think most of us are cautiously optimistic though.

Guys ...relax ...of course it s a new engine. The old engine isnt capable of this...to ANY degree. They couldn't rewrite these types of graphics on the old engine even if they wanted too (hey maybe they did want too).

This game was written from the ground up for sure.

I really, really, really just wanna see this new engine expand on gameplay as well as graphics.

I don't know if it's just me, but these Madden player models look like slightly enhanced Fever models. I mean, just look at the eyes...hmm. Personally, I hope this is not the final product. I'll be highly upset. If this is the "new engine," I hope it's not too late to make another one.
