One Feature I would Like to see for Next Gen

.......is the ability to update rosters during your franchise. It's very much appreciated all the work that goes into them,now give us the ability to update DURING our franchise, instead of having to start over or control all the teams to have current rosters.Thoughts

What if Wr. X playing for your team has 50 catches for 600 yards and 10 tds. You update the roster and WR X, got cut. Now what?

If he got cut in real life,I wouldn't have a problem. I was under the impression that the deal with updated rosters is to keep everything....well....um updated If it bothers some that much,just trade for him. But all I'm saying is the only way to have updated rosters is to either control all the teams or restart your franchise.
So based on your theory,if somebody is having a good year and they get released or traded then you wouldn't want an accurate roster? you would rather keep him on your team?
Then what's the point of updating rosters?? if you don't want to have the most accurate roster.
Like I said,if it were to be a feature or option,I would like for it to be "turned on or off"
Like give the option,(on) you put in your mem card and it's asks you "do you want to update rosters" a-select....b-cancel. If you select (a) everything would be updated,and the guy's stats would still carry over to their new team.

Nope because before i play a game, I get rid of players I do not want on my team. I have no intrest in perfect rosters.

The thing with that is it would negate all of the franchise transactions/injuries that took place. I guess you're saying you want to play a franchise and have the only transactions, injuries, ect. be the ones that happen in real life. They would have to provide an update every week. And you would only be able to play one game a week. And this would only be good for one season.

The idea behind the franchise mode is to control it for several years, make your own trades, drafts, ect.

It would be cool for season mode to be able to play with the nfl season. I like to play while i watch the games on sunday and it would be cool to have the actual rosters every time. But as far as franchise i don't think I would use it.
