Your Thoughts regarding Madden/XBOX360/PS3

I would be willing to bet the gameplay will be the same. With the 3 chips in the 360 you could easily have gang tackling a balanced passing and RUNNING game. The AI should be the best we have ever seen. My bet is that it will play no better then Madden in the past. Looks great plays poorly.

it's not about what the system "can" handle it's about them figuring out how to make it happen after starting from scratch. ea reps at e3 basically said there will be some things missing in the 360 version b/c of the transition just like there were when going from PS to PS2.

I would hold off. Reasons being:
1. if u play college football as well, u won't be able to upload to the 360
2. will pretty much be the same game, better graphics. Is it worth another $60
3. 360 won't be out until november, from what I hear, the game will have lost appeal by then.
4. spend $400 to play a few games which will be out on the existing consoles a month a two before the 360 does not make sense.
5. ps3 better gaming console. sad but true.

A lot of the game developers including the guy that makes the metal gear solid series says it will be easier to develop games for the 360 than the ps3.

For me i'm justing waiting to get 100 so i could go reserve my 360 with perfect dark and pgr3, i want madden 2006 and kameo but i'll olny have money and time for 2 games. I'll probably buy madden around christmas time if 360 launches early novemeber

Can't wait for next gen grahics, forget the ps3 bring me my 360 (doa4, ng2 hopefully,forza 2, halo 3, gears of war, blue dragon etc etc)

Do a google search for "developers easier xbox 360"...you'll be surprised by the number of articles that pop up.

Here's a link to an article on ign.com...it's microsoft propaganda, but it gives an in depth comparison about the 2 systems. Apparently the cell technology is really tough for the developers to use though...he wasn't making that up.
