Who is actually going to wait til November to play Madden Next Gen?

Well because I just don't like to play my Madden franchise and just draft generic college people. I mean just look at my sig, I like to do a steady Dynasty/Franchise thing with NCAA/Madden. I'll play my NCAA season, import the draft class to Madden. Then play my Madden season, and draft the NCAA players on over and I repeat the process. It's neat because I'll be playing NCAA and when I recruit players, I know that these HS prospects will soon be in Madden someday. So in some ways....In NCAA I'm actually building the basis of my Madden franchise. But thats why I'm not getting 360 Madden, cause there is no 360 NCAA to go with it.

After playing NCAA religiously for about two months now, I've decided to do Dynasties and Franchises together. I really worked hard to develop my NCAA squad and would love to draft some of their players into a dynasty since I knew what they were capable of on the field. Going forward, that is what I'll do on Next Gen. The only reason I don't play Madden so much now is because the game is so full of glitches and cheat codes. You play against a human, and they glitch you to death. You play agains the computer and it is just plain dumb so it has to cheat. NCAA is fun and fair. I'm getting MNG because it is a brand new game written from the ground up for Xbox 360. I'm hoping they let the NCAA team work on its engine.

Will I wait until November...not likely. Yet, come this November my current Xbox and all the games will be thrown out of the window (or sold) so I can enjoy next gen gaming in all of its goodness.

Since Microsoft will be coming out first, they will be the prototype.

Pretty much. Treat Madden 06 on 360 like Madden 2001 that launched with the PS2. For that year it was the only system of the new gen to have Madden and it was the base for the series on the new platforms. Quality wise we'll see how good it is. It looks damn promising so far.

Try asking at a Microplay if they're getting any copies in. I've heard of some last year getting a few of NCAA 2005 and College Hoops 2K5.
