Who is actually going to wait til November to play Madden Next Gen?

I mean for the PS2/Xbox/GCN Madden 06 comes out in August, about 2 months from now. But the Xbox 360 doesn't come out til November and the same goes with Madden Next Gen.

I see many people saying that they are going to get MNG when it comes out, so does that mean that you are actually going to wait THAT long to play Madden?

I mean the reason why I'm not going MNG is because first it comes out in November and I'm not waiting that long when I can get the somewhat same game in August. Also EA with the 360 is going the same route they did with the PS2 back in 2000. EA had Madden 2001 out for the PS2 launch (as well for the N64 and PS1) but as for NCAA Football 2001, that didn't make it onto the PS2....just the PS1. NCAA Football didn't make its debut onto the PS2 until 2001 with NCAA Football 2002. The same goes with the 360, it'll come out with Madden 06, but NCAA 06 will just be the current systems and we'll have to wait for NCAA 07 for its Next Gen release. Why is that a matter for me? Well because I just don't like to play my Madden franchise and just draft generic college people. I mean just look at my sig, I like to do a steady Dynasty/Franchise thing with NCAA/Madden. I'll play my NCAA season, import the draft class to Madden. Then play my Madden season, and draft the NCAA players on over and I repeat the process. It's neat because I'll be playing NCAA and when I recruit players, I know that these HS prospects will soon be in Madden someday. So in some ways....In NCAA I'm actually building the basis of my Madden franchise.

But thats why I'm not getting 360 Madden, cause there is no 360 NCAA to go with it.

Well, 1) One of the threads had someone spreading a rumor that Next Gen Madden was only going to be on the PS3 and 2) NCAA is looking to be off the chain! I don't think I'll need Madden just yet. It looks pretty much the same as last year's version.

So to answer your question...I probably could wait until November...if it's even coming out then.

Madden Next Gen only on the PS3? Why would EA do that? I mean the PS3 isn't even coming out til Spring of next year and thats just the tenative date, it could be pushed back to probably summer 2006. Why would they release Madden 06 Next Gen on the PS3 then when Madden 07 is about to come out in a few months....?

It would just be logical for EA to release it on the 360 first in November then wait for the ESPN Madden 07 to make the PS3/Revolution debut.

listen cuz... i dont give a flying f**k if ncaa aint coming out this year for the 360/ps3. um still getting it for ps2 along with dat madden okay, plus um getting the 360 version and i know um not the only one. Why? cause i want to! thats cool if you dont wanna come out tha pockets, but dont try to convince people its stupid to want madden on tha 360 and might wait til november, look at the graphics man... i know people who had madden 01 on ps1 and bought a ps2 with madden when it first came out, i did. so what!?!

I never said it was stupid to get MNG and wait for November, I'm just saying why I won't do it.

I am..no way in hell im i dishing out 50 bucks for another same BS madden for this gen. Im waiting and will keep my fingers crossed for x360 Madden..until then i'll continue to play ESPN NFL 2k5
