What about the graphics?

Okay, I've heard tons about added superstar mode, cone vision, blah blah blah
What about the second most important attribute to a new football game "besides game play", the graphics. I don't expect the next generation improvement but some would be nice.

Well, what's your opinion? You've no doubt seen the videos... What do you think? Looks exactly the same as '05 to me.

The 2nd most important? To me, thats' a lot farther down the list. But yeah, the graphics aren't improved much (if at all), and for good reason. Why completely revamp the engine when the new consoles are out late this year.

Yeah, graphics aren't very important(or at least 2nd) to me. I dont mind Maddens graphics at all, actually.

Not being much of an online player, I think graphics/animation is third.

1. Gameplay
2. Franchise
3. Animation/Graphics
4. Presentation
5. Sound

Graphics don't need to be amazing, but the better they are, especially the animations, the more it offers in terms of realism and fun factor.

Graphics are terrible on Madden; one of the major turnoffs of the game. Graphics first, gameplay second, and then maybe it will be playable.

Actually, I've really liked the Madden graphics the past few years. I just like the EA style that seems to be used in all of its games (Madden, MVP, Tiger, etc...). That may be because of the bright colors and allusion to cell shading that some of the models seem to possess but I like it. Honestly, I was less impressed with the ESPN graphics last year than I was with Madden graphics... though I don't hear that thought coming from many other people here or who I play with.
