OUTSIDE OF THAT MADDEN IS GONNA STILL BE CALLING THE GAME WITH HIS RECYCLED DIALOUGE FROM 2001 AND BEFORE. YOU ARE GOING TO SEE THE SAME REPLAY TYPES, PRETTY MUCH THE SAME HALFTIME SHOW BUT MAYBE WITH A 3D MODEL OR TWO OF AN ESPN PERSON, POST GAME CELEBRATIONS WILL BE THE SAME, ETC ETC. QUOTE ME ON IT! I dont understand where the blind loyalty to EA comes from with some people. I just dont get it. Here I am, someone who HAS given EA the benefit of the doubt but refuses to anymore. They have dropped the ball with recycling certain boring aspects of thier game way too many times for me to believe "next year" will be the year they finally really do something. If i were a bank, and EA was a person wanting to borrow money, do you think id loan it to them? nope. Id check thier credit and see how many times they have failed to deliver in the past and deny them for a loan. I dont see why some people still blindly buy into the BS, and the "go arounds" and the "i cant discuss that" responses in these interviews and Q & A sessions.

I notice you conviently ignored certain parts of my response.

You are focused on (and disappointed in) the elements of the game that make it "entertaining". Fine, I can respect that. I don't presume to tell people what they should think is important.

I simply cannot believe that most people on this board would agree with your earlier assertion that Madden could just recycle the same gameplay, as long as we get as all sorts of swell presentation enhancements. Most of us want, first and foremost, a game that provides a realistic NFL gaming experience. It is my opinion that this years Madden will be considerably closer to that goal than any previous version of the game. For me, that's enough.

Well I guess EA is just not capable of dealing with the gameplay and presentation all at once... mighty EA with its deep coffers of gold lol...cant fix more than one aspect of the game each year. Pretty sad.

Realistic NFL gaming experience? No.. No console football game provides a realistic anything.. Black Cez is right on most of the time.. EA always puts gameplay on the back burner.. Ala SS mode.. It's very deep.. Imgaine if they used that time & space on game play issues?

But is he right on this particular issue? If EA had done what he suggested (simply republishing Madden 05 with much improved presentation and new rosters), do you think that would have satisfied the majority of OS'ers?

I'm in complete awe that there are no quarterback draws in the game. How can you pretend to have realistic playbooks when you take away a major play for a good amount of the leagues quarterbacks.
