Why isn't Madden Advertising this year??

It's really wierd. We have seen few videos,commercials, newspaper ads, and stuff like This year. Madden always had TONS of commercials on tv. and Sites were giving videos like there were no tomorrow.

Honestly, I think it is because of the fact that they are the only game in town. If you are a monopoly, why advertise? Where else are NFL fans going to go for their football game?

Maybe they're waiting for more Next-gen stuff to show. They know everybody is gonna buy this-gen Madden anyway, so there's no need to advertise much. But then come November or whatever, people will start to see next-gen commercials and be like "Whoa, man! I gotta get that!" Instead of having to spend money twice on advertising, just spend it once.

I've seen a bunch of commercials on ESPN. Like every break I see one.. Maybe I'm the only one seeing them..LOL

yeah I've seen the commercials, but they dont show any gameplay...

Good thinking. They are the only game and town and I bet they will start a advertising blitz in Mid Oct for the 360....I can't wait to see what the 360 will bring. There is a rumor the the ps3 may not be released till 2007..It may depend on how the 360 sells..It's either on gamespot or Ign. the story that is...

The only advertising I've seen has been the countdown, and I think I've seen one every day since it started. And like someone else said, that's pretty much all they need, being the only authentic game this year.
